EFHW Antenna
Our EFHW (End-Fed Half-Wave) antenna is built directly onto our custom 3D-printed wire winder, providing a rugged, compact, and space-saving solution for portable and field operations.
The antenna utilizes a 240-43 toroid wound in a 49:1 impedance transformer configuration and is paired with a 100pF capacitor for efficient HF performance across multiple amateur radio bands.
Included is 70 feet of 18-gauge stealth wire, offering excellent strength, flexibility, and low visibility for discreet and reliable deployments in the field.
Designed for rapid deployment and easy transport, this antenna is ideal for POTA, SOTA, Field Day, emergency communications, and other portable operating activities. Available with either SO-239 or BNC connector options.
The antenna is naturally resonant on the 40m, 20m, 15m, and 10m bands without the need for a tuner. Operation on the 17m and 12m bands will typically require an antenna tuner to achieve the best possible match, depending on your operating environment and setup.
Each antenna is shipped untuned, allowing you to fine-tune and optimize it for your desired operating frequency.
